So I guess I have a blog now

And I guess I should also explain what this blog is about.

I've been writing seriously for about... eh, six or seven years now, and sometimes when I mention this to people, they tell me that they'd like to read my stuff. Up until now, I didn't really have a good method of distributing my writing. I email chapters and sections off to a couple of my really close friends, but other than that, it withered away on my laptop hard drive. Then, a couple of weeks ago, I thought, "Hey! If I got a blog, I could share it with them!"

So I now have a blog. I'm going to be using this blog to (surprise!) share my writing with people I know (which means you). As a forewarning, said writing is probably going to be fantasy or sci-fi focusing on older teenagers, because that's what interests me. If that also interests you, feel free to poke around and read a bit.

One more thing-- I have absolutely no idea how to blog. If there's something I'm doing wrong, or a particular way I could make my blog more fancy, let me know or something. (I'm particularly skeptical on my title.) At this point, I'm just guessing about everything.

All of that being said, I thought I'd share the intro sentence to Asleep in Eden, a short story that I'll be posting soon. If you want more, the link to part one of the story is below.
